Hey there Spoiler Show listeners, we've got a very special episode this week as we are gearing up to return to your regular scheduled programming.

Marcus and I were invited to appear on a local film podcast called The Movie Jerks, and were delighted to find out that they were actually really awesome guys. When it comes to movies, they really know their stuff, and more than that they really love the art form, even when it comes to the sorts of films they feature on their show, which you'll soon hear about.

Please enjoy this episode of The Movie Jerks, and give them a rate and review on iTunes while you're at it. Check out more episodes at their website, themoviejerks.ca.

Hey there Spoiler Show fans, this is our last episode of 2012, and we decided to end the year with an hour devoted to the most wonderful time of the year, Gift-Buying Time ... I mean Christmas!

To celebrate in true Spoiler Show fashion we had on the Batman of Morrissey facts himself, Torrey Dance! Did we find the true meaning of Christmas? There's only one way to find out ...

We'll see you all in the new year with fun new Spoiler Show episodes, that promise to be bigger and better than ever before!

December 15, 2012 07:16 PM PST

Hey folks, Matt here with a supplemental Spoiler Show episode for you. This week, I had the privilege of sitting down on the couch at The Lobby and talking to Kevin Martin, owner and operator of that fine establishment. He's also half of the dynamic duo that run Dedfest, Edmonton's yearly horror film festival and monthly retrospective screenings at the Metro Cinema.

We talk at great length about the state of movies these days, how to run a successful video store, things we're looking forward to in genre cinema and the Disney/Lucasfilm merger, among other things. Plus, we've got a (predictably) film heavy SELL ME ON IT to cap off the interview. Check it out!

Hey there! Very special episode for you this week, what with the Apocalypse on the way and all, Marcus and I decided to do a public service announcement concerning all the myriad ways we might snuff it.

I ranked 10 of my favorite Apocalypses by their likelihood of happening, and Marcus and I reasoned through them. We also let slip which ones we think are the most entertaining (in theory, always in theory). In our SELL ME ON ITs this week, I bring up a fantastic new novel while Marcus reinvents the way you ingest liquids.

Hey folks, this week Marcus and I talked to Petros Kusmu, who among other things is the current VP External of the Students Union at the University of Alberta!

We got an update at what's been going on at the old alma mater, and talked about the habits of highly effective trolls, space, and who at the table is secretly a lizard-person. Combine that with one of the strangest SELL ME ON ITs in recent memory and you've got yourself a podcast, mister.

Hey there folks, here's a new Spoiler Show comin' at you! This week, Marcus and I talked about all kinds of stuff today, from the current state of the Movember project to the release of the new GTA trailer.

Speaking of Movember, here's the link to Marcus' Mospace : http://ca.movember.com/mospace/2538046

Hey there folks, another episode of the Spoiler Show coming at you! This week is another supplemental episode, as I was exploring parts unknown this week, but Marcus stepped up to the challenge in my absence.

With the return of fan-favorite guest Jeff "Old Man Japan" Turner, Marcus talked about cats, the entirety of human civilization up to this point, the American election, and also cats.

Hello there folks, Spoiler Show here with your new episode. While this one was recorded the day before Halloween, the really scary thing this year is the imminent American election next week. What better time to have on the eminent philosopher and teller of dick jokes Craig Sherburne (@comedybycraig) to give us a wider look at the topic.

For our SELL ME ON ITS this week, I (surprise) bring up a British TV show, Marcus opines on a tasty treat and Craig talks up one of the funniest TV shows currently going.

Check Craig out live as he performs October 31st through to November 4th at the Comic Strip in West Edmonton Mall!

We've recorded a man-tastic episode of the Spoiler Show for you this week, as Mark Hayes, chief cutman at Edmonton's own BARBER HA and gentleman farmer came on to teach us about being men. We learned a lot of good farming tips (which we immediately ruined by bringing up HARVEST MOON...), hear about Mark's trips around the world, and more!

In this week's SELL ME ON IT, I direct your attention towards a fun new Irish movie, while Marcus and Mark discuss the virtues of two American cities!

Check out the non-profit Mark mentions, Solidarity Rock, at www.solidarityrock.com!

In this week's very special episode of the Spoiler Show, Marcus is off at a conference, so I rounded up a few of my friends to try a new game. Myself, Torrey Dance (the Batman of Morrissey facts) and newcomer Sam Rollans all decided to pair some of our favorite television shows with a specific beer.

As per usual, this descended into a wide ranging chat, and descended even further after that. Definitely an NSFW episode this week, with MASSIVE SPOILERS for Downton Abbey Series 1-3, Doctor Who Series 1-5 and New Girl awaiting you, lucky listeners. All that and some more treats for your eyes with this week's SELL ME ON ITs.
